I'm cool with some of the goth people at my school.. some of them are dicks but some are cool. I do think the goth look is pretty dumb but I don't hate goths. I think because they kids at my school who dress in black aren't really that gothic.. they don't really pretend to be all depressed and all that bullshit.

you need to broaden your horizons.
there are many different types of rock.
classical.
heavy metal.
industrial.
pop.
punk.
emo.
indie.
etc...

cradle of filth falls into "crappy heavy metal"
I like some heavy metal, but I at least like the heavy metal bands with talent.

franz ferdinand falls into the category of indie/pop rock.
take a step back and look at the big picture.

Well I know some goths that are the biggest assholes, and I know some that are pretty cool.

The ones who don't seem to take it too seriously seem to be cool but the ultra depressed "feel sorry for myself" kid seem to get annoying sometimes. But most of the goths at my school really aren't like that.
