I simply look at everything as humor. Do you think the dancing baby is funny? I think its hillarious. Now if it danced while on fire, i would love it that much more. Now, steriotype would make you think i am gloomy and sad and wouldn't smile or laugh. I am not depressed. I frown only when i am sad, which actually doesn't happen much. This is like asking you why you watch a certain show you watch. Someone would bash you for watching your show and they have never seen the show befor. I don't know what to tell you. I just can't think of anything not to joke about. You seem to like comic books by the sig you have on. So if someone were to think you were a comic book geek and said all comic book geeks do is screw themselves while looking at pics of pencil marks made by Stan Lee and allways dressed as storm troopers from Star Wars, you wouldn't like it. Press you ear to the computer screne and tell me what you hear. You hear the humm of the CPU it is hooked to.

I climbed up the tower, and everyone expected me to jump. Instead, i pushed the guy off who was standing next to me.

Comic book collecting is a hobby, being gothic is a life style. You're comparing apples to oranges.

I surf, ride dirtbikes, write computer code, read a few comics, and drink a lot of alcohol. Go ahead....stereotype that.

I have yet to see something Link said that I don't agree 100% with. Sure he's profiling and stereotyping, but there's a reason for it; when you decide to follow the "gothic" lifestyle, you are stereotyping yourself whether you like to admit it or not. It's a trend. No one is born that way, so expect ridicule; you'll get it as long as you decide to give into this redundant trend of modern society.

And you should get something straight: "Goth" is a race of medieval Germanic barbarians; what these people are are attention deprived teenagers who don't want to face their problems so they blacken everything, lock themselves in their room, and cut their wrists as they think it's a passport to separate themselves from their peers.

I would actually love to see it happen so i can say i saw someone stupid enough to do it. I don't think of coming to your house and kicking your arse for the things you say, i write it off as ridicule to something you don't understand. And most goths wouldn't know where to begin a speel or witch craft. Everything you say about goths, you can say about hippies and any other group, still won't make it true. I still love ya though.
