Its all a matter of personal opinions and popular stero typing, if you believe that "goths" are satanists then manson is a "goth" as he is a priest in the church of satan, this status was granted to him by Anton Levey (spelling may be wrong) however us so called "goths" (yes us because I am considerd one by the public) do not all worship satsn now do we?
To sum it all up in my opinion manson only becomes a "goth" when someone describes to me what a goth is...?

A goth is a person who wheres a certain types of clothes,is into a certain type of thing i.e. their culture So if you follow the Goth culture you know dog collars and stuff then your a goth it doenst ,mean your a depressed person just that you like to dress a certain way
Finaly someone who has it right, I would bow to you if i could, I follow this gothic style of cloths, all black, studs, spikes, pvc, chains ect. However I follow the stero typing as I am a very depressed person, but I know people who follow this gothic style are are very happy.
