We do know that he really hurt a character with Superman level durability with and IMP. plus he could take her speed as Mercury/Hermes himself is a speed force endowed character not even on Flash's level or Superman's for that matter. He also could drag her into the speed force and allow her to be absorbed.
Near the dawn of humanity there came a race of beings whom the ancient Greeks would later know as gods. Empowered by the beliefs of their worshipers, each held sway over certain aspects of the world. From Chaos came Gaea and Uranus; from their union came forth a race of Titans, who were in turn cast out when Zeus, son of their leader Cronus, slew his father and founded Olympus (standard Greek mythology).
As their worshipers spread through the Mediterranean, a being known as Uxas (who would later become Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips) brought tales of the Greek Gods to a tiny village known as Rome, changing the names as he told their stories. To better oversee their two lands, they created avatars of themselves, one house remaining in Greece, the other in Rome. Over time, however, the two pantheons became distinct beings—Zeus and Jove, Hermes and Mercury, Athena and Minerva—each now a separate identity, rather than two appearances of one being (as told in Wonder Woman #131, 1998). With their worshipers divided, their power waned, and both houses fell into myth.
Their influence is not completely gone. The Amazons of Themiscyra still worship the Greek pantheon, and those gods still speak to the Amazons. Hermes himself was an ally of Wonder Woman during her early adventures in the outside world.
A few years ago, however, the sorceress Circe sought to gain supreme power over the universe by inciting all pantheons—Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, African, Aztec...even the New Gods of Apokolips and New Genesis—to fight a great War of the Gods. It was during this time that Hermes sought out the Flash so that he might steal his speed for the battle with Mercury. Hermes became a key player in the effort to thwart Circe’s plans, and Mercury joined with others to re-empower Captain Marvel (having contributed his speed to Shazam’s original spell), but ultimately Hermes died at Circe’s hand (War of the Gods, 1991).
The aftermath of the war led to a reconciliation between the Greek and Roman pantheons. Eventually, the two houses decided to once again merge, each Greek god becoming one being with his or her Roman counterpart.
If Flash could steal Hermes speed he can definitely steal WW's.
This is a walk in the park for Wally. He speed-steals Wonder Woman so that she's a statue, then attacks her at will. He could pick up some dirt of the ground and chuck it at fantastic speeds lending it WW's stolen speed and it would punch through her like the bullets she otherwise deflects with her bracelets. Or he picks her up and dumps her into the Speed Force. Or he vibrates through her and lets her explode. Or he IMPs her (which he has done under other writers including Kelly and Johns). Or he phases her or an object- like the ground- into her. Or he time travels back to the date of her origin and prevents her from existing. Or he runs across the globe for artifacts to defeat her and uses them before she can blink.
Speed is king!
One: He can 't steal her speed
Two: If they were at their best and Flash was KC Flash Diana would be using the Godwave.
Three: Though this will be a hard battle Diana will win she has the advantage with flight.
Also the only "reasons" Diana doesn't have the natural speedster aura of a true speedster is cause she isn't and it's just another one of those damn stipulation DC seems to give her so that she doesn't ever use the true extent of her powers. But, on the plus side it makes her immune to Flash's speed steal technique.
Originally posted by Adam WarlockNot current Flash, and I don't think I ever said he'd win either, I was just posting stuff he could do/has done. And proved how he would be nearly equal to a Guardian of the Universe [which as we know, have the capabilities of killing Galactus.] since he draws from a similar power source. I don't know why you feel the need to bring it up in every thread either. It's just stupid. Quit being a ***.
I don't know, Jrod and Juntai seem to think Flash can bring down a Rune King Thor. Couldn't Flash imp her a few times?
Either way, Professor Zoom almost killed Wonder Woman right before the Crisis, and if he didn't turn around and start beating up other amazons and taunting her and taking his attention away, she would have never got that lucky lasso off. He was knocking her across the planet over and over, and chasing her, and hitting her again before she could even think. He had her in a bloody pile before she even touched him once.
Originally posted by LethalFemmeYeah he can steal her speed, it's the kinetic energy of the molocules. Even JSA Flash has taken Superman's speed before, for example. There's no reason he couldn't do it to her.
