I just watched Dragon Hunters and Redbelt.
Dragon hunters is your typical family/fantasy movie. It is, however, a very good typical family/fantasy movie. I believe the animation was done by a French company (don't quote me on that) and i was very impressed with the animations. If i didn't know any better i would have thought this movie was made by Pixar. It's a fun family movie. If you have kids you should definitely check this out with them. If you are capable of watching movies with the kid inside of yourself, you too should give this one a try.
Redbelt had a very strong and engaging first half but quickly deformed into a sloppy presentation of absent writing and broken chracter development. The last act of this film really is pathetic. It is a shame too, because the main character is a very wise and likable character. If you like those martial arts movies that bleed ideals then Redbelt is worth a watch for the main character. If you like good movie's watch something else.
