Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

Star Trek.

The Heartbeat Detector - Mostly one big bore, tried hard not to fall asleep over half way through.

Well let me think... In theatre: Halloween
At home: The Buttefly effect

Was that the Halloween original, or the remake? Because that's a long time not going to the cinema if the original lol. 😛

1: Drag Me to Hell (sooo bad its good)
2: The Hangover

Red Cliff - Rather good new film from John Woo, well sort of new, just coming out in cinemas here in a few days, but I managed to get it on DVD, so watched it last night.

Did you see the original Asian version or the shorter version that is being released ?

The DVD I bought is from Asia, it's Part 1 and it was about 140ish minutes long. I've got part 2 to watch also. I believe part 2 is around the same length of time.

I think part 2 is about the same run time. I just wanted to know cause I want to see this but because I don't really know to much about the history of this event, which I believe is the reason that they are releasing a shorter version, I don't know if I should see the shorter version or longer.

Asia have the nearly 4/5 hour run time, and most outside get a 2ish hour... that's a hell of a lot of cuts. The official long version gets good reviews. I'd rather see the longer version, than the shorter version with bits edited out, and even whole characters cut out!!

Puffball - Mediocre 'horror' from the director of Don't Look Now, disappointing from this director.

Thats why I am torn. I think I will get the longer Asian version on DVD, I have seen that you can get both parts for about £15.

Cinema: Terminator Salvation
Home: Dr. Strangelove

Punisher War Zone, best Movie ever In My Opinion.

You need to watch more films, unless you are joking... 😛

It's a whole 143 minutes cut apparently, I'd rather see the longer original vision. You are seeing the cut version too, so not missing out on anything.

You are correct about the shorter version, it is cut because of westerners not knowing the history, that's one reason... I think it's a stupid excuse. Get the DVD you mentioned.

Saw The Wackness last night, quite good.

Just got back in from watching The Hangover.

In Theatres: Terminator Salvation
At Home: Seven sins

At the theatre: Angels & Demons.

Theater - "Terminator: Salvation". Very mediocre film. It was basically "Reign of Fire", but with robots. 2.5/5

Home - "Dragonball Z: The Movie - Bojack Unbound". Another less-than-stellar DBZ film. Bojack's easily one of the most two dimensional villains from the franchise, the plot was poor, everything up until the fight was poor, and I felt like the threat could've felt larger. The fight was good, and the villains weren't too bad(not as lame as the likes of Janemba and Android 13), but I still had my problems with them. I noticed these issues with every theatrical adventure after "Return Of Cooler", the last really good Dragonball movie(sorry Broly fans). Not an impressive feature. 2/5

One of my all time favorite superhero/vigilante films.
