I'm currently watching The Hide (on Film 4) and it's by far one of the best psychological dramas I've seen in a long time. It's premise summed up reminds me of a cross between The Deliverance meets The Odd Couple think Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver stuck in a shack with Roy Cropper (from Coronation Street) discussing everything from garden gnomes and power tools to inappropriate jokes.
No A-listers (even on a British cinema scale), no special effects and one location throughout, it's worth a look for anyone who likes their drama slow winding and gritty.

Damn! I missed that in the tv magazine... you talking about it in the foreign film section too. Have to see if it pops up again on the channel.

I watched Pride and Glory last night, very disappointing. Nice to hear Sage Francis music in the film though.

Absolute Power - Saw it on TV yesterday. Great opening for 20 minutes with pure visual storytelling, but becomes a decent thriller after that with nothing too amazing. Deserving of MATINEE price at the theater.
