John Lithgow as the villain. Pure badass.

Pure badass-HOLE is more like it... haha. Yeah, he's great in it. He's not actually British, is he? I was gonna say, "Why are British people always more awesome?" (And Australians, too, of course 😛 ) But Wikipedia says he was born in New York. He did a good job of pretending with that accent..

1. A Noble Lie: Oklahoma City 1995 (Amazing!)

2. The Rum Diary

Warrior - Home

This was the best sports film that I have ever seen in my life, and I'm about to watch it again.

Netflix - Babel. 5 Stars.

No he's not British. You can tell by the way he says Bastard so badly.

It was good enough to fool me.. heh. I dunno. He's so damn effective and convincing as that character.

At Home I saw "True Grit"

Never been into western films that much but this one was pretty cool.

Netflix : Passion Fish. 3/5

+ Performances Aced
+ Setting/Backgrounds provided
+ Well Written

- Overtired Plot
- Music Choices Didn't Mesh

Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl.. with my girlfriend. Had been a long time since I saw it. Very sweet and funny movie. : ) it's fun seeing George Carlin in a sweet grandfatherly role.. god rest his soul. 🙁

Blu-ray from my collection:

Daybreakers
The Fifth Element
Moon

- Willem Dafoe continues to be God amongst mere men.
- Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich aren't too bad, either. (God I miss movies that used practical effects and this is such a fun movie)
- Sam Rockwell is almost Godlike. Very smart movie.

👆

Netflix - "The Mikado"
The Gilbert and Sullivan musical where the words and raced and there's always sort of the same plot and the same love triangle. and goofy characters. except it was from the late fifties so everybody was white, and pretending to be Japanese.

5/5 STARS

Home:Angela's Ashes (too depressing)

Ghost Protocol! Badass mr. Tom!

I tried watching Punisher: War Zone. I only made it through about the first 20 minutes or so. I guess I'm getting pickier in my old age. It's really badly done. I probably won't finish it. I do kinda wish a good director would get ahold this character, cuz I think it could be pretty f*cking awesome if done right. I might just watch the Thomas Jane one or whatever again, cuz I remember that one being better.

Netflix : Home Room.

3/5

Home: Universal Soldier.

Before Bill Goldberg! 😆 Seriously though this is one of my faves although brutal in parts the fight scene at the end seems a bit clunky with re-watch but Ally Walker is just amazing in this, a perfect contrast to Van Damme's stoic Unisol (not his fault really, just the role he had to play).

I also find it ironic when watching this that they picked Van Damme to play Guile in the Streetfighter movie when Lundgren matched the look and physique a lot more. A lot of actors probably swerved that one though so maybe he did too.
