An OK movie, action was great at times with the close quarters stuff being the best examples but the dialogue was off in many places. I think the idea of bringing all the action stars together is good but it should have happened way earlier, with a better budget/story. I will see the second one for the further introduction of Van Damme, Norris, and more Willis and Arnie but probably when it's available to rent.

Best bit for me:

Spoiler:
When Statham is in the nose of the plane and they're swooping down on the docks to blow it up, that was amazing!
I watched The Expendables the other day, too. I thought it was pretty mediocre, at best. The special effects seemed kind of low-budget. I agree, though... that was definitely the best part.

I thought it would be better than it was that was all,

Spoiler:
the whole thing with Statham's girlfriend was distracting and non-essential to the story. Couture, Crews, Rourke and Li's characters were completely marginalised and pushed aside by Statham and Stallone. The dialogue they had didn't help either. Lundgren, even though I get the whole addict thing was just overplaying it and nothing came out of him that made sense. Willis only had a few lines and he sounded more clear and in control than any of them. The Arnie/Stallone scene just makes me angry that they never teamed up in their prime, that would have been truely epic.

The good points were the action like I said, Stathams' character was just just insanely deadly with knives and the fights/violence were hard-hitting, the plane scene truly amazing, a fairly okay car chase, a good firefight/takedown at the end although as it went on it sort of blurred together and I was losing interest.

I will see the second one though, I've always been a fan of Van Damme, not so much Norris but I won't want to miss Arnie taking down some villains again - it's been too long!

I think you mean "Arsenic and Old Lace." With Cary Grant and Priscilla Lane.

Instant Netflix - School of Seduction A quirky Brit film about an Italian woman giving confidence to quirky British women who are unhappy at home, plus one transexual. 4/5

Chronicle--theatre--pretty good.

Last movie that I saw was the Vow..

Home : "Harlow." A biography film made in the sixties. I saw the sticky fingerprints of the Code written all over it. Like, how Jean Harlow almost died a virgin.

Home: Revolver.

Well...the beginning to middle was very good, slick direction, dialogue with a hint of mystery thrown in there - and then Guy Richie must have went on a LSD trip for the final part where everything went insanely hard to figure out, at least for me.

Mark Strong's assassin character (Sorter), had the best scenes and coolness attached to him though.

Theatre - 21 Jump Street.

Good old school comedy. The trailer ruined sooo much though.
