I urge you to reconsider.... it does have a slow beginning because all the facts need to be presented. And the Larsen family kind of shuts down for a while. But it does get better - I'm not saying that it turns into CSI or anything, the process of finding the killer is meticulous, especially to Detective Linden [the redhead].

Or that it could have been in his imagination. The first time Gary Oldman's cop/Det. character comes to interview Patrick at work, they did three versions. One where Oldman's character was sure Patrick hadn't done it, one where his character didn't know either way and was just fishing because he had to go through all the office people, and one where he knew that Patrick didn't. Then they mixed up the versions, so it would seem really confusing to both Patrick and the audience.
