Thor

If Loki is a Frost Giant, then why doesn't he look like one? And where did he go at the end? Cuz he didn't die, since he's in the Avengers... so many questions..

You didn't watch the whole film, then. The flashback of Odin in Laufey's throne room where he finds Loki abandoned because he's so small for a frost giant baby; he is blue skinned with forehead ridges. Odin uses his power to smooth his features and colour into looking like a son of Asgard.

The vortex created by the exploding bifrost bridge at the climax - Loki willingly let himself be pulled into it rather than go back to Asgard. Even if he was punished and forgiven for his crimes, he no longer felt he belonged there, due to many slights imagined and real.

We know he survived because of his shadowy appearance at the end of Thor (past the credits) where he's observing Dr. Selvig getting introduced to the Tesseract cube. We can also assume because of Avengers, he exited the wormhole and found himself in the company of the Chitauri, the Other and his master Thanos. He makes a deal to get revenge on Thor and get what he feels to be his due as a king.

Last movie I saw - Avengers, six times in a row.

Classic Sci-Fi on Instant Netflix:

[b]Enemy Mine (1985): Perhaps a little dated, but surprisingly good. Some of the effects a quite dated, but others still look pretty good. It comes off as a little silly at times I think, but probably works better as a novel. I might actually look into reading (the book) at some point. Should definitely be seen by any fan of Sci-Fi. I'm glad I watched it..

Got to agree with you. I still really enjoy it, sure it has a moral to teach, but its still fun - reminds me of 'Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone' in terms of look and atmosphere. Could both have occurred in the same movie world.

I last saw 'The Three Musketeers'.
'Brotherhood of the Wolf' meets 'Ultraviolet'.
From the DVD title montage it was clear that this was no more than a family comedy adventure with huge set pieces and an enormous dose of unreality. I must say I liked the set design in this film - beautiful and intricate even if its mostly CG.
It took the name and basis of TTM, but made it modern family fare adventure pulp.

Is this what you're talking about? Spacehunter <--- click

I slept through The Goonies the other night... saw the beginning and the end, but nothing inbetween... heh.

Not really possible unless you were forced to watch it continuously. You can only have so much of a good thing.

Cinema: Men in Black 3

Well, I thought it was a good film but not great. It was less comedic and focused more on the story elements this time round which I'm not sure was a good idea 'cause 1&2 while being re-hashes are funny and memorable.

Spoiler:
Boris the Animal had a great villain demeanour but failed to really provide any real danger to J & K. There was a lot of growling and throwing about but apart from his quick killings not a lot to get excited about. Sirlena and the Bug felt a lot more dangerous.

I thought the Griffin character was amusingly eccentric and the Andy Warhol/agent joke was funny. Brolin was excellent at showing a more effusive, younger K. The twist at the end (which I'll still hint at just in case this is highlighted by mistake) I did not see coming at all and it suprisingly fits. I'll even admit to getting a little choked up at that because it was a very good scene.

I actually don't think I've seen it all the way through, start to finish. Just seem most of it on TV, I think. Oh well, I've got a copy of it now, so I might get around to it at some point. Classic 80s.

Me too, I remember bits and pieces but nothing concrete.

So does anybody have a solution here? <--- Plz hlp

Home -- Eaters -- Crappy Zombie Apocalypse flick watched it solely on the theme song. Big mistake.

Home -- Die Hard 4.0 -- Good flick. So John has a son named Jack hey?

Who should play McClane's son?

Men in black... it was entertaining... just what you would expect men in black to be...

Watched "Kevin Smith : Burn in Hell" a Q&A conference with Kevin Smith after making Red State.

Then watched Red State. Awesome film!

Watching Movies is my hobby.Last time i watch the movies as follow

At the thetre: Season of the Witch
At home: The Way Back

Home: The Debt. good movie overall, but i didn't like the ending.

Home: The Losers.

Enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun but it needed to be longer with more to the actual plot. Chris Evans made me laugh a lot in this, especially when he's singing along to a song... eerily enough, if I tweaked my hair and grew the beard I would look quite similar to how he looks in this.

Instant Netflix : The Poker's House.
Very sad.... 5/5 stars.

At the thetre: Haunted Mansion
At home: Bad Boys 2

At the Theatre:

Exotic Marigold Hotel; Overrated...didn't like.
The Artist: A good, interesting film.
West Side Story: My alltime favorite movie, hands down. It's a movie that I never, ever get tired of seeing. (in fact, I've lost count of how many times I've seen West Side Story at this point!).
🙂

Angels & Demons -- For the second time. I rather like it, personally.
Hitman -- Didn't pay attention to it or understand it very much.. meh.
