You could not be any more wrong. Unlike the preview this movie is more story based than action based. Good film.

To each their own. I came out of the theater disappointed with the stale plot, terrible acting by Keanu Reeves and the Japanese people speaking English.
I found the fact that everyone spoke English in natural dialogue unbelievable. The fighting choreography and visuals was bright spot of movie

The story wasn't complex but effective nonetheless. Simple works and it worked here as well. Shame this movie is such a colossal flop.

Well I know a ton of movies are being dropped from netflix come the new year - I can't find the list right now, but it usually says on the poster when the movie is coming off - so you should check that.

That's sad. Already, they've removed from stuff very subtly.

If everyone had spoken Japanese, aside from Keanu's being atrocious to hear, it would pan to an American audience. This is the first version of this legend told in a non-Japanese tongue. The character of Kai and the supernatural elements are probably to better acclimate a western audience.

Desolation of Smaug.

At home: The Shining
Theaters: American Hustle

Gravity.

Godzilla vs Destroyah

Die Hard - it wouldn't be the holiday season without it. 😖anta:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone.

Poseidon makes a solid New Years movie...

2 guns it was pretty good..

Watched "Primer" from Netflix. Awesome, awesome movie. I've also seen the other movie the director made, "Upstream Color." It's even less logically understandable than Primer, yet has a HUGE amount of pathos, which IMO is hard for movies to bring to the surface.

Jobs, which was alright. 2 Guns was good too.

Mary Poppins

Gangster squad it was great!

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Don Jon, so much truth in this movie, funny as hell!

EDIT: turned off Dead in Tombstone after 20mins, was pretty bad, not sure why but it just wasn't working

I saw Escape Plan and it was actually really great!

Watched some Futurama [was lazy and didn't want to really pay attention] then some Supernatural.

Great Gatsby ending was touching and had lot of truth in it.....

Just watched "The Illusionist" on youtube.
