Meh? Nearly everyone I have talked to said it was good. I have not yet seen it myself.

Well I've read the books... so the movie lost all the "surprise!!" moments. Which, if they had been surprises, I'm sure it would have been a better movie.

True, that would dilute the effect somewhat. And mentally disagreeing with anything that may be 'off' or interpreted differently by the director.

I remember watching the film 'The Sphere' after reading the book (which is one of my favorites); the film was horrible and the loss of suspense only made it worse.

Prisoners. Great film. Grey morality, suspense, with a dose of adult fear. Jake was solid and Jackman's performance alone should win awards. Apparently, one of the scenes is just a product of the director telling him to kick it up a notch.

Just saw Tucker and Dale vs. Evil for first time, because of Alan Tudyk of course.

Really awesome movie

^ Nice to meet another fan of that flick. It's indeed really awesome.

Star Trek Into Darkness it was great!

Iron Sky. Loved it in its own weird, twisted way.

the wolf of wall street
the lone ranger

The Wolf of Wall Street which was fantastic.

47 Ronin.

The Spectacular Now-What a waste of an hour and a half.

Fargo
I didn't really like it.
4/10

damn. really? I have that one my queue.

Lone Survivor. Starts of okay, really picks up and then suddenly you're enveloped. Very good. Very visceral. Reminds me a bit of the French film 'Special Forces'.

It had potential, but they just didn't develop it enough.

The Ruins

Actually a decent enough horror/thriller premise 'ruined' by some stupid shit including and not limited to a goofy gimmicky ending.

Big Trouble in Little China - Netflix.

Home: The R rated director's cut of Spawn on Blu-ray.

It's still just as bad as I remember.

Ah, the 80s.

The Descendants~This film was fantastic. Clooney was brilliant in his role and the story kept me into the movie the entire time. It was so worthy of the nominations it got a few years back.
