Hobbit 3: battle of unnecessity or whatever-the-f#ck

Good lord, it was bad. But this time not because of length, just because the plot was boring and I think at this point there just wasn't anything fresh or worth the trouble anymore. It was boring. It needed Gollum. Definitely the worst of the series and to me the Hobbit movies just look way more plastic/fake/artificial for some reason.

^

Especially with the orcs, Instead of body prosthetics they went with mokap.

Yeah, that was definitely part of it. The makeup FX and prosthetics in LotR were fantastic and gave the movies life. But I assume they also used a bunch of greenscreen fir the environments? Everything just seemed badly/artificially lit and over produced like a bad pop album.. heh

Home - Big Hero 6

Theater - Dracula Untold

Home:

Birdman - 3.5/5

Not the most entertaining movie, but a solid performance from Michael Keaton.
I thought Zach Galifianakis was just a one-trick pony, but he proved that he could mix it up a bit with this movie.

Theater: American Sniper - was ok for what it was.

Home: Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

The f#ck? Where was there a flaw?? I challenge you to come up with a flaw. The only thing I can sort of think of as a possible flaw is that there wasn't anything tied up and resolved with his daughter fooling around with Ed Norton's character. That felt like it might have deserved a bit more attention. Other than that, it was pretty flawless.

Those annoying random bongo drums

Spoiler:
Checkmate

I believe they were regular drumset drums, not bongos. Not a flaw.

It's not my cup of tea.
Too much talking/gibberish goin on, like those boring British movies.
I'll give it a 4/5 if it wasn't for the lack of suspense.

cockneys vs zombies.

John Wick on DVD.
20 mins into it & I knew it was gonna be a fun ride!

Lol, it's not a suspense or thriller... more of a drama/art film.

F#cks yeah.. that is a great action film. That is what action films should be. Can't wait for the follow-up. I hope Dafoe returns in some capacity. *bows in reverence*

The Usual Suspects
The Client
Sleepers

Seventh Son.

I watched Whiplash the other night. It was great. Recommended for any drummers/musicians/jazz lovers.

What if I am none of those things?

Then you shouldn't exist.

Nah, but in all seriousness, you still might find it interesting. It does have 95% on RT afterall.
