IT (2017)
I'm actually kind of surprised that I enjoyed it. I get the complaints about jump scares not really being scary, etc. but I still think those elements worked as sort of visual spectacle. To me most of it worked, and there is some nice practical and digital effects. The kids were great, very fun to watch. I did notice one or two glaringly obvious editing mistakes that I'm surprised weren't caught, but otherwise I really liked it. I'll look forward to seeing Chapter 2...
I enjoyed the RLM review of this, but I largely disagree with them, which isn't common. I only disagree with them from time to time.

BATMAN 1989.
A little cheesier than I remember, but still holds up. Keaton is of course great; though Nicholson steals all his screen time I think it works in Bats’ favor, kinda like not much seeing the shark in JAWS.
Basinger, super hot. Alfred, super cool.
And Tracy Walter’s Bob? He needed his own damn movie.
SCOOBY DOO AND THE LEGEND OF THE PHANTASAUR
Not a bad outing for the gang.
The animation was good, the mystery interesting, the humor self depreciating at times, the voice work solid; it was fun to see Shaggy acting like an action hero spouting one liners, and, Daphne cross dressing AS Shaggy was surprisingly hot...!
TERMINATOR DARK FATE
This was a pretty damn good movie!
I can deal w. all the other movies since T2 being alt timelines (happens in comics all the time). And the fact that even w. all the time tampering,
Spoiler:
certain things are just just gonna happen.
Some mecha AI bullshit WILL attack.
Judgement Day or a variation thereof WILL happen.
A great leader WILL rise to lead the human race.
A fun popcorn movie, and pizza afterwards made for a pleasant Halloween!
