Last Movie You Saw? (Theater/Home)

Started by Nuke Nixon695 pages

Watched the original X-Men trilogy with the fam. I forgot how much I loved 1 & 2. 3 was better than I remembered but still pretty bad

Theater: I think it was The Gentlemen

Home: Honey Boy, was okay, kinda up its own ass

Home: Transformers: The Movie. 1986.

It's hard to believe G1 season 1 and 2 only lasted two years until the dreaded Season 3. It felt like Transformers was there since the dawn of time, even though I was 7 at the time it hit, and 9 for the animated movie.

Seeing the kind of bland vegan meal the guys girlfriend made, I think the McDonalds guy just wanted an excuse to binge food he really likes without insulting her. 😂

I’d rather just insult her.
All bets are off once I’ve seen someone nekkid.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB

One thing I never understood was Bender’s Christmas/complaint story about his dad giving him a carton of smokes as a present.
Bender was a smoker.
As a smoker myself, I’d be quite happy w. getting a carton of smokes as a present!

THE GRINCH

Jim Carrey really made this one fun for me.

THE GRINCH

The latest 2018 Cumberbatch version is pretty damn good!

THE THING

Kurt Russell and Kieth David went out like champs, dammit!

The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

2nd time. Had to show it to my wife. This movie is so amazing. 😂

THE THING

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has a way too long name, and she amply filled Kurt Russell’s shoes here.

^ Seriously should've renamed that movie better with it being a prequel.

^^^FIRST THING’S FIRST!

The Great Gatsby (2013)

It was good. I hated having to read the book in high school, though. I don't think I actually read much of it. Didn't like the teacher much, so that probably didn't help.

Surviving The Game (1994)

Change of pace. I had to purify my soul after that last chick-flick film. A near-masterpiece of greatness. Ice T, Gary Busey, and Rutger Hauer. 👆

Doctor Sleep Director's Cut

didn't seen the original version at the cinema, So i don't know what would be new.

Yeah, I only watched the Director's Cut, also. Thought the original stuff was really good, but some of the nostalgia trip closer to the end was the weakest part of the movie.

Greed

Horrible, horrible movie. I love Isla Fisher so I gave it a shot. Even she couldnt save it.
