The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)

I finally finished it the other day. A lot of great things to enjoy here. It's got a strong Inglorious Basterds vibe, but has the advantage of being based on reality, even though I'm sure it's highly fictionalised. Good stuff. 😄

I prefer rewatch Mandy for a different and weird movie and also has Nic Cage.

Mandy was a little TOO light on plot, but it was great in basically every other way. I need to revisit it at some point.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

It's been too long since I saw it. It's still amazing, even though a lot of the green screen stuff is a little more noticeable to me now. It looks great in 4k with the HDR. I upgraded and it was worth every penny. Might even try to watch it one more time before Furiosa this week.

THE FALL GUY

Once I got over the fact that they’d deviated from the source material, unclenched by butt cheeks and judged it on its own merit, I really liked it.

THE GARFIELD MOVIE

Kitten Garfield was adorable.

Shame it's flopping. It needed to be refined a bit more, but still a fun spectacle.

Decided to revisit those bad boys just for fun. They're far from perfect, but from what I understand, the source material is a bit of a mixed bag, too.
