Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)

Alien: Romulus (2024)

Some nitpicks for sure (and one glaring distraction), but otherwise it's a really solid addition to the series with a great setting and some really effective sequences. I can't wait to see it again. I want Fede Alvarez to make more Alien movies if this is what he's capable of!

I'm watching, House of the Long Shadows. I haven't seen such a good mystery movie in a long time. 10/10 so far. Hopefully the ending is just as good

This is the best movie I've ever seen for mystery and suspense. It reminds me of The Sentinel (1977 film) but with some of the best actors I've seen in a long time.

House of the Long Shadows 10/10

^^^I gotta wonder what the glaring distraction was!

BONE TOMAHAWK

Fun little western. For all the talk I heard about -that- scene, I gotta say it wasn’t nearly as bad as ppl had made it out to be when the movie first came out.

I mentioned it in spoiler tags in the Romulus thread if you're curious.

But I would suggest just seeing the movie first. There's SOOO much good stuff about it.

^^^I checked your spoiler. Yeah I’d have gone a different way w. that! 😱

FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA

It was definitely worth rewatching. Fun fast paced movie.

Twisters (2024)

^^^ 😆

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In (2024)

Follows troubled youth Chan Lok-kwun as he accidentally enters the Walled City, discovers the order amidst its chaos, and learns important life lessons along the way.

Had some decent fights, but the story was a bore fest, nothing original. I found myself looking at my phone for a large chunk of it, missing the subtitles and was still able to follow the story.

EXTRACTION, EXTRACTION 2

Not bad movies, mostly because Chris Hemsworth is pretty charming damn his good lookingness.

The Extraction films are both good. Like a 90s action film set in modern times.

They're making 3.

^^^Are they? Sweet!

I've heard good things about those. Haven't gotten around to seeing them yet..

The Beekeeper

could'eve had a better ending to it, Thats about it.

^^^I’m glad I finally got to them. You should go for it eventually.

I think we actually sat down to watch it a year or so ago and stopped because we didn't have subtitles for the foreign language parts.

^^^That didn’t stop me, but I can see where it would be an issue.

AMSTERDAM

Bor-ing.
