I just recently saw "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estradas" at the Theater. Really good movie. Not for everyone though. It has that noir-esque character driven plotline that movies like "the crossing guard", and "Fargo" have.

North by Northwest on the TV love that bit with the kid in the background. Hitchcock sense of humour it’s a winner.
