USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (LIGHT SIDE)- Arms Race

Started by DCLXVI122 pages

I feel bad now....I barely contributed anything to this....
But, (as said before), I'm hoarding....😉

I'm spending 8 on evade and banking the rest

Ok, just gotten some accoutning done, looking back at xp spending from Zeiton onwards.

Xeth, looks like you are in credit- seems you underspent from Zeiton, and Heavy Weaponry is cheaper than you said. 7 xp left after that lot.

Roan- sorry, you don't have the pre-requisites for Evade. Gave you Sidestep, and you still have 9xp left.

Vlad, looks like you didn't allocate enough starting skills, but also underestimated the amount needed to get Pilot and Fix-it to 11. Counted all that out for you, and added in Cleave on the way to Spin, which luckily enough spends all your xp exactly.

Ok, now, is everyone happy with what we have in the Archival Records?

I am

Heh, well, never any trouble doing your accounts, Fire.

Meanwhile, whether because I lost them or they were never made, sveeral players are lacking bios.

I would like to say that in the coming few stories, some bios are going to be used. Obviously I can't use all in one story, but if you don't have one, then it certainly won't be you that gets the focus!

People interested in the RPing side and don't have a bio OR want to modify theirs... should do so very quickly!

Meanwhile, I have some questions for players as it stands.

Gallagher- unlikely the Order would give you the bodyguard- probably more down to political influence from the family. However, a Bodyguard needs a perceived threat. What happend to you, presumably on a mission, that made people feel the need to protect you?

Xeth- I don't actually have much idea about why you are a Renegade!

Densk- Sith references removed from your story, I am afraid.

I need to know anyone who was in a Lightsabre fight before the events of the first Campaign, and some vague details why.

Roan, you've done a lot of stuff as an Adventurer- any missions or foes stand out?

Don't be afraid to use cliches- this is Star Wars, and everyone else has anyway.

yea I should start thinking up a decent Bio for Marcus cause as it is there isn't much to go on, altho I think Marcus and Xeth have a very decent in game background with a lot of people

I was actually about to say, there is of course plenty that can go into Marcus' bio. If I am asking Roan if anything big happened in his career, odd not to ask you too!

I already have certain players in mind for certain things, so some of this might not make an immediate difference. But at least one major plot point right now currently doesn't seem to suit anyone's bio, which is odd as it would have been expected to.

So yup, bio development!

ok I'll have a look at it tonight, but I dislike the cliches

I'll have to add that in, Ush. Xeth likes adventure, and thinks the Jedi do not serve enough justice confined to the Republic. Vigilante, you know? 😉

And I have 7 left?! Hoorah!

I might have to try and up Pilot and Heavy Weapons again. 😄

Ok! You don't have to make anything big out of it, I was just wondering if there weas anything in particular to it to make you go all Batman.

Would you like Bio's for everybody, or just the major characters, (ex. revised ones for Marcus, Gallagher, etc.)?

Everyone is major! It's only longer play that has enabled me to do more with them. Please do bios if you wish!

Alrighty then. 😉
Working it out now....😉

I'll post it tomorrow, or maybe later dunno depends on how sleepy I am

Longo....

Full Name: Lurik Lÿk Xaa
Gender (Sex): Male
Age: 32 Standard Years
Biographical Details: Lurik Xaa was born out on one of the far Rim worlds, and was almost not discovered by the Jedi Order for indoctrination and training. Luckily enough, a Master happened to be passing through the sector, and he came upon the newborn child. He determined that the child could be mildly strong in the Force, and with proper training, could be a rather capable Master. So it was that the Jedi Order went to his parents and suggested taking him for training. The family was poor and lived practically “on the street”, and so they were very enthusiastic about giving their son a better life.

Over the years, Lurik trained at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, being more scholarly of a student, delving deep into the histories of the Jedi and of the Republic. When he finally attained the rank of Padawan Learner, he was apprenticed to the Jedi Master who had come upon him as a baby: Jon Sinn, a wise Jedi Master, who came from a highly regal bloodline.

Years past still, with Lurik still being apprenticed to the Master, when he finally proved himself worthy of attaining the rank of full Knighthood, (he stayed a civil war nearly single-handedly on a small Rim world, calling upon all the teachings he had learnt over the years). It was on that mission where he received his honourary middle name “Lÿk”, meaning “Hero”.

Knighthood was good to Xaa, until the rumours of a practicing user of the Dark Side of the Force reached his ears. This user was obviously not Sith, because they had long been extinct; and he was not “Dark Jedi”, because he had not learned from the traditions of the Jedi. The Council decreed that this Warlord would easily be dealt with, and so they sent Master Sinn to intervene with the situation.

However, it seems at least that the Dark Side user was adept enough to convince the entire population of a planet to turn on their Jedi Saviour, and Sinn was killed in an act of extreme violence: overwhelm by the people he was trying to protect.

When news of this reached Lurik, he was troubled deeply. How could his Master fall so easily? He delved deep into himself, nearly falling to the rage he was experiencing. He willed himself to embrace the Dark Side, but the years of Jedi training stayed him from taking the Dark Path.

Still, he had to know if the rumours were true, and so he ventured to the planet of Ralltiir to discover the fate of his Master. They were. He learned this the hard way, being suggested to horrible images, seeing the corpse of his Master, the man who had been like a Father to him, impaled on a giant metal rod. He lost himself in his rage, and he killed the Dark Sider who had done this. But then, the citizens of Ralltiir were enraged that their leader had been murdered, and they hunted him like dogs hunt rabbits. They viciously tore him apart, mutilating him beyond repair.

How he managed to escape, none knew, because he would never tell. But he did, somehow, but when he did, he left a man changed. Mentally and physically. And his connection to the Force was forever damaged.

Through many medical procedures, he was able to walk, talk, and be a normal individual - save that he could never have children, (though he wouldn’t have any way, because it was against the Code of the Jedi), and he would forever be tormented by the horrible things he saw on Ralltiir. The only things that would keep him alive later in life would be a Combat Suit that doubled as a sort-of iron lung, that also had a helmet. How he created it, or whether he got it from somewhere, is not known, but perhaps he encountered or built it somewhere on his Outer Rim journeys. Many believed it to have been based on the Combat Armour of the Mandalorian Warriors, but none now know.

The Jedi Council asked – not ordered – him to come forth to Coruscant, for healing and help, (both mentally and physically), but he did not, and instead, he left the Jedi Order itself and he decided to go into Exile.

Years later, after many adventures and many failed romances, he finally returned to Coruscant and there he was accepted into the Jedi Order once more – somewhat. The Council was wary of him, especially because of his outburst on Ralltiir.

Weapon(s) of Choice: The blue-coloured saber he built as a Knight.
