The library, then. It takes up a large portion of the upper level, but it's not huge, by objective standards. It is, however, preposterously dense, with barely enough room to manoeuvre between shelf after shelf of tightly compacted ancient books and data records, mostly charting the history of the Serpent.

What's the plan?

The closest I could get was this...

And then the list of things he couldn't search for.

Rianna grabs her communicator.

"Get Mika out of here!" she whispers into it.

(And Rianna goes tumbling down the rabbit hole...)

"Could you contact your brother Mika, and tell him that you need to speak to him urgently?" -Gallador asks Yago.

*crosses fingers until they snap*

hmm..i've been searchin back. i can't seem to find something concrete. you said they don't know what it is for or how it was got..and they don have anything on the security systems around it.

It's made of unknown materials, it is difficult to get the writing to appear without midi-chlorians, it is so high by so wide by so thick, it seems ancient, it is grey in colour...

unknown materials...that means it is impossible to reproduce it *as composition at least). does it say anything about how one might tell it appart visually from that?...material or colour...something

"He doesn't listen to me!" says Yago.

And that's not going to work. Mika's not leaving and you need more direct help than that, Rianna... especially with your grip loosening.

-

It would be very difficult to reproduce it, Takuan, yes.

Looking into that, you do find this. Legend has it that Siva created a duplicate of the tablet, which he swapped with the one he stole so as to deceive the Sith about the theft. He got a hunk of rare mineral rock hacked out to look the part. But the big problem was the way that the writing on the tablets only appears when a force sensitive touches its back. Siva had the back of the fake coated with a substance that biologically reacted to the proximity of midi-chlorians, and that triggered a luminiscent appearance of the letters he had faked on the front. It wasn't perfect but he didn't need it to be.

Now, say these fakes in the vault are made on the same principle... you reckon it wouldn't be as efficient as the Sith original, so the writing would be slower to appear if you looked for it. That's no good though, the trap activates on touch. Still, that is a decisive difference between original and fake.

Damm, can Gallador just persuade/Force Trick Mika`s guards to have audience with him?

a. no

b. you are two levels down with no way up.

Do we have any idea of the layout of the top floor?

Tanic looks for schematics of the castle if not, but if we do he looks for information abou the outside wall.

Only what you have seen.

And you know what, Tanic? This place DOES have the original construction schematics of the citadel. Which will be DAMN useful, if you can remember them...

... and although they are a little late in the day, they do have the locations of the secret passages you can use to circumvent all the stairways!

Big score for Ranic...

Can I use Yago`s communicator to speak to Mika?

Certainly not! That would only make him suspicious anyway.

Rianna actually needs direct help, as I keep saying.

So, Tanic looks for the plans of Mika's rooms.

He also looks at the chamber for the tablet.

Way to go, Tanic. 😄

Rianna's going to hate this, but...

Could Galderhave Rand purchase a smoke or knock-out gas grenade and crawl up the vents to toss it into Mika's office? That way, Rianna can escape while he's out cold. Rah could try it too, if Intrusion is a matter. 😖

The tablet chamber schematics were separate- but Rianna has them anyway.

I am afraid you are not in a position to help Rianna, Tanic.

Galder- you are buying stuff for the grab. If people had thought about it a bit more you would have gotten equipment for this bit as well, but ah well! Mind you, no, that's not a good plan- force not recommended.

Galder, we're not trying to kill him!

Working on a similar note, however, could we try to have Gallador or Takuan go up the vents and use Distract to get Mika to leave his office? Make him think his father is calling to him?

Nowhere near enough tme. For the 100th time, Rianna needs direct help!

Hmm...

Tanic will then look at hangar details, and try and find the safest route from the chamber to the hangars.

Ok, just assume that you can remember enough free access routes to cover the grab.

However- these passages will seal in an alert, according to these plans.
