USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

"Yes, Mistress," Rand says, moving away from her with Rah.

"I need you to distract Mika if you can...this is not looking good for our friend in the ring...invite him to a contest or something..."

You suspect that sort of thing is not Mika's style...

Didn't think so... *shrug*

Conversation, then...

Okidokey then! Seems like we have a plan...

If anyone is really quick off the mark right now, btw, there is something else useful someone could do.

Something else to do? Could you summarize the situation, I got a bit lost.

I could, but I would be giving things away if I pointed out the useful thing.

(I've been concentrating on fighting this fatty...)

Galder will dodge the Nerve Strike. If Galder gets the next attack and Champ misses, Galder will attempt to use Grab on the Champ, taking that chain firmly...

"ok" Rah says, then leaves to approach Mika. "Excuse me sir. I believe the members of my party may have gotten off on the wrong foot with you..." He gestures towards the fight "We are not all of us common brawlers and thugs!" He smiles sheepishly "Although I must admit that I do enjoy participating in the occasional contest of strength as you may have seen..." Without looking aggressive he looks Mika in the face "Personally I prefer distractions of a slightly more sophisticated nature..." He smiles again "...if there is anything you can suggest I'm sure I can provide more than adequate entertainment for your good selves..."

"Get this," says Mika. "Until I know exactly what you came for, and where you fit into Jena's web, I don't give a damn for any of you. I've not found any evidence of a person named 'Peris' opposing any of our operations. I'm going to find where you got that lightsabre, believe me. As for more sophisticated diversions... you'll need to talk to Deva about that kind of thing."

Uh-oh... a +3 form the Champ is not good news! Another crushing blow to Galder knocks him back with nine damage, and a wrench to his right arm what impairs him.

Galder: 10 (4)/27/5

Champ: 2/9/5

"You deserved that... you were distracted. Weak. Useless!"

Your move, Galder!

well..all the sons/and daughter are here watching galder. that gives us opportunity for action. except we don't know where Vigo is.

Actually there are three Lantarnans missing- Vigo, Deva and Yago.

we could have a stealthy sniping attempt at him..if we had the equipment. damn..i have no ideas

I think Rand has a plan ready to go there actually, now Mika- who was specifically watching Rand- is distracted. Jena is watching Galder, and Bora doesn't seem to be the watching people type, though he is watching the fight.

So, Tanic, how are you going to approach the gunslinging this time?

Attention is now being pointed towards this thread...

... to prove you guys some playing tips.

Excellent... Rand thinks to himself, realizing that his plan is set, with the present Lantarnans distracted by his allies.

Rand times his Grip with Galder's next successful hit to the chest or throat area, to make it seem as if he hit hard enough in the right place for the him to activate a choking spasm on the Champ.

Shut up, Master Crikten... Galder thinks angrily as the words ring in his ears with each exchange of blows.

Galder hurriedly looks to Rand again, then unleashes a Hard Strike for approximately where the Champ's solar plexus is located.

Ushgarak, can Gallador create an illusion to help conceal what Rand is doing?

What did you have in mind, Melkor?

Perfectly valid idea, Gallador. Rah distracting Mika probably makes it unneccessary but good thinking nonetheless, because no-one is watching you. I'll save Rand having to make a subterfuge roll because of that.

Now, you can't do a full Grip, because that really would look odd. But this will have a certain effect. Right now, the Champ is on one point of impairment, and all actions are taking him an extra frame. You can try harder, Rand, but that is at far more risk.

Galder rolls evens- a hit, for no damage, but enough to make the damage look convincing.

Galder: 10 (3)/27/2

Champ: 2/9/5

A furious Champ tries a Hard Strike in return, Galder.

"Need someone else to do your work for you now, eh? You've gone soft on me. That will have to change."

Galder will dodge the attack.

You're the one that's in the grave, Master Crikten, leave me alone...
