Small war = last resort! We're not going to go haywire with fights unless it is needed!
Here's what we need to achieve. We need to discover where the tablet is and what is guarding it. Yago liked Rah's performance, so maybe Rah can get him to somehow, since he is drunk, to show him about the upper levels, perhaps the tablet itself.
Once we know these things, we can have those with high Intrusion (Rianna and Rah) attempt to make their way up top to nab the tablet.
Rah has an Intrusion of 10, not sure what Rianna has. Perhaps we can trust Rah with making the grab, hmm?
Perhaps Rianna can locate a security station and get Galder in there to disable the cameras or whatever other security things we have opposing us. I am sure that Galder is indeed top floor, Jena would not hold him anywhere less.
If we nab it successfully, the three up top can come down as quietly as they can without arousing suspicion. Unfortunately, we probably won't achieve that.
If we nab it succesfully but are opposed, then you three up top will have to hack your way downstairs.
The other three, the Force-using folk, will be needed to hold escape routes open. In the quiet extraction case, those of you with powers such as Distract or Persuade will need to make sure that the guards are not at their posts when our extraction trio descend. In the opposition scenario, you will still need to ensure that our escape routes are not blocked by doors, men, droids, whatever they decide to delay us with.
I will most likely either be with the three holding exits open (we may need to divide into twos to hold an exit from the very top and from the mid-level) or, thanks to Galder, talking with Jena.
I am sure it will not be an easy task. Let's hope for the best and see where this plan leads us.
Ok then folks, time is up!
Three days have now passed since your arrival at the citadel, and you guys have managed to get into the routine. Life there carries on pretty much as you have seen- people indulging in endless sociality and cruel entertainment, whilst the Lantarnans balance their time between moving around the citadel seeing how things are, and plotting their evil Galactic plans.
Gallador, Rand and Takuan are on the lower level still. Time and moods pass quickly there, and people aren't paying you as much attention as they were before- still, all of you have achiebed a certain reputation for having made an impact, albiet an oddball one. Since his most recent family exile, Yago has spent much of his time down on the lower levels with his equally brain dead young friends, drinking in the various bars and decrying all things Lantarnan. Since Tanic have gave it a go, plenty of people have tried Gambit again, and two people have gotten killed trying it for real.
Rah and Tanic are a double act up in one of the executive lounges on the mid-level. This is the kind of place visiting bosses come to hang out at, and plot and plan and discuss, whilt their goons waste time downstairs. (if Rand had done a good job with Jena from the start, he could have started here). Your time each day entertaining these people has given you ample opportunities for various Empathic scans, and so to identify who is and is not important around here. People up there also accept your existence. In this respect, you have met Deva, who is... a man of substantial frame? Not unlike the man who was the stand in for Jabba in ANH before the graphic was overlaid, he has certain had the odd pork pie in his life. He is also social and jolly and, from what you can tell, utterly bereft of ambition to be beyond what he is now. He spends all his time on this level, it seems, rarely even going upstairs. Deva has you on a one-week trial to see how good you are.
Bora has Rianna training some of his men on the middle level; Bora has considerable manpower available but seems to have trouble getting people that are any good. He's also leaving the nature of the training (which is unarmed, btw) to Rianna herself, so she is mostly doing it in the "attack me and see how you do" style, taching not being her vfaourite vibe- especially when a couple of them made comments about her looks and what they would like to do to her. The two that volunteered happily for the wrestling training are now in the infirmary with three dislocated limbs apiece.
Rianna was actually quite roughed up after her fight with Kung-fu guy, however, the damage was purely concussive, and so heals quicker than normal; these three days see 10 damage disappear by default, even as she remains active, and anyone can make a medicine roll onnher to heal Outcomex2 in further damage.
All of you have time off to go around and try stuff, or plan stuff- but it seems Vigo does not come often to this level.
Galder, meanwhile, has certainly felt better. He was on 45 damage from the end of that fight, and that is broken bones and huge cuts. He only heals five damage from the passgae of time. However, being in the bacta tank, even with the torture factored in, heals another 10, taking him down to 30 and activity; when he gets a chance, someone can use a Medicine roll also (assuming you don't feel like asking favours of Jena). Of course, the expense of being in the bacta tank is, of course, that Galder hasn't been able to do anything at all, though Jena now has everyone's names and details.
All of you are now free to do whatever you want again, as I hope you have planned in your time off. There is one event, of course- in that it is now that Jena has sent for Rand to come see her at top, some dedicated-looking men providing the escort. Rand, you knew Galder wasn't dead, you would have felt it, but you are pretty sure he's not greatly well, so you have more than one reason to go and see her.
Reposting Gallador`s research during last three days:
Gallador is looking for some kind of power generator or similar devices. He will use Mind Tricks on people around that seem most weak-willed( determined through use of Empathy and Scan), in the less populated places. What about an alarm or computer internal defense system?
Basically Ushgarak, I was trying to learn as much about the base`s defence system and weak spots as possible, consulting with those members of the team that are skilled in technical matters. I have been using Mind Tricks very subtly, on weak-willed or drunk individuals only, when no one was paying attention, using social skills otherwise.
Security on this level is really not sophisticated from what you can make out, Gallador- it is entirely human based, and the security force is merely a reflection of the private armies of the Lantarnans.
The power generator must be up top, from what you can define, because there is no sign of it elsewhere.
