Hellblazer

anyone read this? i picked up a couple, and it seemed good. but in my opinion, after i got more and more interested in it, they seemed to die after about 100. 100 and below rocked, especially with Tim Bradstreet, my favorite sketcher of all time. i just love john constantine for his bad ass attitude.

Constantine rules. Some months ago i pick up an issue and it sucks. Something i didn't even think was possible. But it's awsome again. DC needs to be a little more careful who they select as their writers, especially for their longest running Vertigo book.

the comic is great, but the keannu reeves film looks like its going to suck big time

Indeed, this time Hollywood's gone too far.

Hellblazer is cool, but some of the stories aren't. It all depends who's writing. And Hollywood should never have been allowed to get their hands on it.

It always depends on who's writing, that's what makes the Hollywood version of just about all comic movies doomed to be crappy. Hellblazer isn't exactly the kind of character to need a super high budget for awsome effects either so If it can't even offer great visual effect it really is quite doomed.

^well i dont know because i have not read the comics unfortunately but the movie was sure nice.. different, controversial i bet a lot of people wont like it coz of religious issues. but constantine is a unique superhero the CGI was right up there, the movie itself rocked the storyline was nice i really loved it definately worth a sequel
and this movie really had some funny moments
