He is believed to be the physical father of all Pharaohs, king of the gods of egypt and patron of the pharaohs, originally a god of fertility, a local deity of Memphis, Amun became linked with the sun god Re through the royal family, becoming Amun-Re

nowhere is he believed of being a creator god, Amun was the god of fertility and Ra was the sun god, then they merged as one becoming amun-re

EDIT: akhenaten was also never actually a god, but a pharoah who many egyptians believed to be evil because he only believed in the sun god Ra and destroyed any existence of the other gods like statues or sacred temples

Akhenaten claimed himself to be a god, and for a short while during his reign, he and his wife took the place of geb and nut in the egyptian pantheon. He moved the capital of egypt to a new city in the middle of the desert and banned all other gods except for the sun god (or arten), and made his subjects worship himself and his wife as though they were gods. The city and religious reform was abandonned when he died, and he was erased from almost all egyptian records.

I was watching a history program before, and im sure that they mentionned amun-re as a creator god. THe egyptian creation myth is that he was masturbating, and ejeculated the universe into existance.

they were hinted at in the moon knight comics, dont know if they played much parts in anything else

Originally they were just hints and vague mystical forces. In his most recent mini-series, and in his guest appearance in Black Panther's series, he has directly communed with Khonshu.
