"The Matrix; effectively brought Bullet-time to mainstream and probably will have an effect upon future movies and their special effects."
Didn't Buffalo '66 do some effect before everyone said Matrix created it. I can't remember what it was people are saying The Matrix created, but some shot was done already in Buffalo '66.
Anyone? I need to remember the film book I read that in.

This thread is more on the lines of movies that have had an impact within the movie industry itself rather then movies that have influenced you personally.😬But anyway if ladder 49 has influenced you to become a firefighter good for you.👆
Actually, my vote went for Star Wars because it both had a huge impact on my life and everybody elses.
It is easily the most influential movie in my own life, not to mention the Star Wars Origianl Trilogy is my favourite movie(s) of all time.
It affected EVERYONE.
