Why doesn`t my signature work?

Dumb question, but it`s better to ask for help rather than to pretend you`re a know-it-all and make a fool of yourself.

My problem is that I want to add an image to my signature and, although I have uploaded it, it doesn`t show at the end of my posts along with my signature text... I would really want to know why and what can be done about it...
