of course they are wild claims, cos u probably aint never heard anyone question this stuff before....u aint gonna read about this sort of stuff in the paper.....the media is controlled as is the tv so if they dont want the public to know about anythin, then they can do this....so when somebody actually does question the system then it would appear to be a load of nonsence woudnt it?
people have no idea if the astonishing information I am presenting
is true or not," says Icke, 48. "They dismiss it,
not because they have sought to establish its credibility
by their own research, but simply because it is different
to what they have been programmed and conditioned to believe.
impossible? i dont think so...do u really know whats goin on in the world?
so when somebody actually does question the system then it would appear to be a load of nonsence woudnt it?
That's true. On the other hand, a load of nonsense would also appear to be a load of nonsense. Really, most of what you've excerpted isn't that spectacular; some obvious statements (the government is using fear to control people--that's even more true now than when Icke wrote this) with a healthy layer of paranoia (they're implanting microchips in us! The world is being run by some sort of shadowy "Agency!"😉
The whole idea of an "has been unfolding over thousands of years to its current point close to completion" is pretty silly, when you think about it, especially since he goes onto say that the "few" have only recently been able to manipulate the entire planet in recent years, thanks to globalization. A "thousands-year old scheme" to take control of the world is absurd, because thousands of years ago, nobody knew what the extent of the world was.
Irony overload: Icke complains about how "When something happens that we don’t like, we look for someone else to blame." This is immediately after he's blaimed all of humanity's woes on the afore-mentioned Brotherhood.
After that, Icke descends into full-blown anti-government paranoia.
Irony overload, part two: "When you read or hear a slanted news story and allow it to affect your perception of a person or event, you are being mind controlled." So by allowing Icke's book to affect how we think, we'd be letting him mind-control us...?
If a "yes, sir" mentality pervades America, why can't the government seem to do anything without provoking massive protests? If they wanted to train people to do whatever they want without protest, they did a pretty poor job of it--look how many people said, "Screw this" and fled to Canada durring the Vietnman War's draft.
fair point
derren brown is on tv tonight...he shows to us how the mind can be manipulated and controlled...
Derren Brown is a unique force in the world of illusion - he can seemingly predict and control human behaviour. He doesn’t claim to be a mind-reader, instead he describes his craft as a mixture of applied psychology, magic, misdirection and showmanship. Whatever you choose to call it, his unparalleled performances amaze and unsettle all those who watch him. This is a powerful and provocative form of entertainment, unlikely to be imitated for a long while.
The controversial, award-winning psychological illusionist Derren Brown returns to Channel 4 with a brand new one-off special. In a departure from the formats of Russian Roulette and The Séance, this documentary-styled one-hour film sees Derren in America raising questions about the nature of belief systems that people are encouraged to base their lives upon - such as new-age faiths and mainstream Christianity. By using different fictional identities and pretending to have supernatural abilities, can he get authority figures to endorse him as the real thing?

it is amazing what he does and u think its magic but it isnt....he can manipulate people's minds and i think what icke is trying to say is that this is happening on a global scale...and derren proves this is possble
The reason we are so controlled is not that we don’t have the power to decide our own destiny, it is that we give that power away every minute of our lives. When something happens that we don’t like, we look for someone else to blame. When there is a problem in the world, we say “What are they going to do about it”. At which point they, who have secretly created the problem in the first place, respond to this demand by introducing a ‘solution’ - more centralisation of power and erosion of freedom. If you want to give more powers to the police, security agencies and military, and you want the public to demand you do it,then ensure there is more crime, violence and terrorism, and then it’s a cinch to achieve your aims. Once the people are in fear of being burgled, mugged or bombed, they will demand that you take their freedom away to protect them from what they have been manipulated to fear. The Oklahoma bombing is a classic of this kind, as I detail in ..And The Truth Shall Set You Free. I call this technique problem-reaction-solution.
Create the problem, encourage the reaction “something must be done”, and then offer the solution. It is summed up by the Freemason motto ‘Ordo Ab Chao’ - order out of chaos. Create the chaos and then offer the way to restore order. Your order.
I can appreciate this, I'm not sure why but I agree. Also, I noticed you only posted extracts that portray Icke in a sane and intelligent light. Unfortunately, most know him to be rather different 😬 I will admit that he has some valid points, as you have shown, but the things he discusses have been talked about by others for centuries. The difference being, they never claimed people were lizards in human form, or that seemingly harmless family games are really conspiracies disguised as Xmas presents. He got himself fame, or infamy and now he holds the greater power. People will listen to the nutcase. It's entertaining..... but to be perfectly honest I can't believe the things he believes. Once I'm proved wrong I'll gladly kiss his feet.
