When Matthew Stover was in New York this pass week attending
a autograph session a reporter asked him " How is your work doing
right now " he said " I'm having a fun time writing the Star Wars
novel " the reporter asked if he meant the Revenge of the Sith he
said yes and when the reporter asked him what was so fun about it
he said WARNING: " Writing all the fight scenes " and when the reporter said " has it been hard" HE SAID: " Yeah its not easy writing about
guys who fall into volcanoes and get blasted out a window.

Talking about Anakin and Mace dying, I'm pretty sure. This confirms that Anakin falls in the volcano, then?

I’m pretty sure the whole planet is like one big, active volcano. I really doubt Anakin actually falls into the mouth of volcano. He probably just eats it in one of the lava streams. After looking at that toy picture posted, I wonder if the duel ends while Anakin and Obi-Wan are on those floating thingers and Anakin refuses to stop and enters a “rapids” like section or really volatile area. I could see him passed out behing carried downstream with lava splashing all over him. It would explain his injuries, as just the limbs hanging off the rock, or platform get burned.
Then his buddy Palps could pick him up downstream.

Well it's not actully a Volcano he falls in, it's a molten pit.

um whats so bad about ani fallin into a volcano,its been that since the begining!
