For the first time in the history of this site we actually agree on something for once Pr. 😆 You hit the nail right on the head and you are so correct when you say-She shouldnt have really been there in the first place.Im proud of you,for once you applied some logic about a superhero film adaptation.There was no need at all for her to be on this show whatsoever in the first place.They could easily have used some other character for the times she was on the show.

I wasn't asking you a question it's just that every post of yours seems to be complaining about something not going exactly like the comics. I can understand you're a big comic-fan and want nothing more than a simple understanding that it should go by the comic, but it's just not going to happen. Hollywood has to change some things...for whatever reason. Sam Raimi, who made the Spider-Man movie, was a die-hard comic fan, so I'm sure he had a reasonable explanation as to why he had to adapt the movie to have organic web shooters.

I will admit that I'm not a Smallville viewer simply because I feel that the show does NO justice to the true character of Superman. Maybe the 1st season was true to the character of Clark Kent. But now it seems to me that the WB is ruining the image of Superman. Maybe is time to cancel and the WB should concentrate in working on the Superman films.

First to address the thing about Sam Raimi,he didnt use the mechs because it was just sheer laziness on his part.Inexcusable lazy film making.nothing more.He was clearly the wrong person for the job.and I never said I hate the show because its not exactly like the comics.as long as the changes are reasonable im all for them.Pete being black instead of white like he was in the comics=reasonable change. Lana being a brunette instead of a red head=reasonable change. Lois Lane living with clark and being in smallville=pointless and stupid change.get the picture?

I doubt because of Smallville the image of superman will be "altered", everyone realizes that they're too different things... there are MANY smallville fans who like SV but dislike SM 😬
people should get a grip and let WB run their shows however THEY want

Ok first of all, the powers that be over at Smallville have stated from the beginning that they were going to take this show in a different direction at times from the canon SM.

This show is great fun, and tonight's episode was simply the best to date. thumbsup

What I'd like to know myself is why this thread remains open when it's obviously become some kind of nasty little war. This would have been shut down if it was in certain other sections of KMC.

I have to also admit, I am NOT a fan of the original SM movies. I personally thought they sucked, but thats just my opinion.

Peter, its fine to scream from the mountiantops that you arent coming back next season because of the problem you have with Lois, but if you expect anyone here to say "Oh no! Dont do that!", I think you'll be waiting a long time.

It's a tv show people, if you dont like it change the channel and let the people that do like it have fun discussing it.

Yeah I saw it and it looks like I will have to watch the season premiere episode next season because like you said,we need answers.I want to hear the conversation that will take place between Clark and Jorel and there needs to be some other questions answered as well.then after the season premiere episode,they should cancel it.LOL.

Boy after watching the season finale to this show other than the season premiere next fall, I for sure am going to skip next seasons show.This episode was very poorly written.Not only did I have to put up with the insipid and annoying Lois Lane calling Clark Smallville as always-which I always thought was pretty stupid,here are the other reasons why this episode was poorly done.First of all,Lana knows karate,she should have easily have taken out Jasons mom with one punch to the face especially since his mom is obviously not much of a fighter.She should not have struggled with her at all in that fight.Lana has taken out men much bigger than her before and knocked them to the ground.

Also that was stupid that Jason was at the Kents house more concerned about the crystals than getting out of town when their lives were at stake.Jason is much smarter than that,he would have been more concerned about his life than worried about the crytals.When jonathan mentioned that to him,Jason would have said-Your right,I almost forgot,we got to get out of here.Come on Jason has logic and common sense and is smarter than that.Now Lionel I would expect that out of him But jason? please give me a break.that was so stupid.Also Jason fell like a 100 storys from a cliff,how the hell did he survive that fall,and on top of that,how did he survive getting shot in the heart as well? they gave no explanation or answer for that.The writing for these shows has gotten very sloppy and bad.thank god this season is over. A badly written episode to a horrible season.Not surprising though coming from a bunch of writers who decided to destroy the history of Superman by being stupid enough to bring Lois Lane to Smallville. 🙄

You wont be finding me here back in the Smallville section next fall posting but dont be surprised if you find someone like the original topic starter of this thread- Beastro posting next fall about how this show has really gone down hill big time.I wont be the last one you find complaining about it,you'll have others to deal with Im sure.just not me anymore. 😄 I've had it with this show.I think Im going to start watching CSI NEW YORK instead.
