He also said that in order to save someone from dying you must cross the river Styx and to do that you must have the permission of a god. He does ask (from one other Jedi) and is refused so he turns to someone who will give him a YES answer... All of this is allegory, metaphor, whatever. It is NOT to be taken literally. Do you honestly think we are gonna see the afterlife of a GFFA? gimme a break!

I'm glad Lucas confirms that Anakin before the injuries could still waste Palpatine. However, when he says full potential, does he mean at the peak of his darkside or lightside powers?
I'm assuming darkside, because we all know he turns, but how powerful would he be at full light side?
At full light side?? He picks up the Emperor and throws him off a balcany into a bottomless pit on the Second Death Star. Once he turns good again, he is able to finally defeat the emperor. Either way, Ani/Vader is very powerful.

Mocha Chica, I kinda see what you're saying, but given how the force is out of balance, and Anakin is their version of Jesus turned to evil, he is nearly insane I am asssuming. Agreed?
Yes, Obi-Wan defeats Anakin, but based on Obi-Wan's track record; (defeating Darth Maul, a VERY powerful Sith, and General Grievous; the best melee warrior the Jedi have ever faced) the settings of the epic duel, Obi-Wan's ability to not let emotion get in the way, and his dedication to lightsabres ("This weapon is your life"😉 it's no surprise he wins the duel, BARELY.
More controlled still doesn't mean more powerful, or better. Nick Gillard said Obi-Wan is an 8 out of 9 in lightsabre skills while Anakin is a 9.
I was just curious if he meant the Anakin at the end of Episode 3, because there's no doubt he would have immense power beyond measure.
