James Bond .....Forever?

James Bond id the Longest series in the world. but......will it continue? theresalready what 20 movies or soand will they keep finding good actors that can be Bond? will they Come out of plot ideas? what do you think will happen to the series?

-PeaveyROcker

As long as there's an audience for it, Bond will continue. Honestly, considering how much money each film makes, I can see them coming up with new plots and selecting new actors for the next forty years ...

It might need to take a little haitus like Star Trek is before they lose their audience.

what RA said ✅

By the time the next Bond film comes out, it would've been four years since "DAD". Isn't that long enough?

it could have been worse... I thought between Dalton and Pierce was a bigger gap

yeah i know but i mean if they are stillmaking them in the next fifty years i wonder how "high Tech" it will be

well, if CR will go back to the roots of Bond ... they might do it again in 50 years 😉

That's true - there was a whopping 7 year gap between "LTK" and "GE", the longest ever gap between two consecutive Bond films. And to think: "Dr. no", "FRWL", and "Goldfinger" were made within the space of 3 years!

yeah, and Moore set the pace too... guess the world has had enough for a bit?

{Silently} Hem hem - not me ...

And not any of you lot, I presume ...

it depends which way the movies will go

I seriously think if they return to the greater days, like Goldeneye 😮 when it was superb, the series could potentially go on for ages, there will always be an audience for Bond.

If they don't come up with a truly memorable villain like Goldfinger or Blofeld I'm afraid the series will start to die off. They need to clone Blofeld back.

I think what made Bond so monumental was because it was so believable, like this could really happen, with DAD it lost that, and I personally was very disappointed with it.

So going really far out is not the answer 😛
