Darkside/Lightside Explained??
I just found this over on the tfn. boards and haven’t seen it discusssed here.
Anyway if it’s true it explains alot.
InfoWars posted this spoiler in Motee's thread about Anakin naming Leia:
Let me post something, no one has seen here (Well almost no one).... Because the interview hasn't been released yet..
"....One thing that will be explained in this Installment is the Dark Side. You see, it can only see Dark deeds. and Evil that is done. That is how Darth Sidious finds out Anakin wants to kill him. In the Prequels the Dark Side is able to seem more powerful because confusion and war is abound. Sidious could see Anakin slaughter the Tuskens in Attack of the Clones. Yoda could only sense something. The Force balances each side with limitations. Good is being shrunk down in power. It is the opposite in the Original Trilogy. You will find out the Emperor could not sense Vader's turn to good or anything else because the Dark Side can not see good deeds and feelings. Sidious in the Original Trilogy is just as blind as Yoda in the Prequels. But in Episode III Sidious will not tell Anakin this while he turns him. Leaving out his worst fear knowing Anakin might not fully comply. This is a huge plot point for the Saga itself. This is why Sidious can not sense Yoda or Obi-Wan in the Original Trilogy.
Vader, on the other hand, can...This is because he still has a connection with the light side of the Force. Something Sidious never had. The audience will finally realize Anakin set himself up to be saved. By allowing Both Sides to give him what he needed to make a final decision in Episode VI, to who really is stronger.
When the audience watches Return of the Jedi, again after Revenge is out, they will understand why Sidious says to Vader:
" Funny I did not.....
I want to make sure your feelings are clear on this Lord Vader."
He fears not knowing Vader's thoughts because they are good. Also, when you watch Empire again, after Revenge is out, you will know Sidious was aware Vader offers Luke to overthrow him. Which is another reason he wants Luke to kill Vader in Return of the Jedi. Sidious is trying to assure that Vader will not turn back. He is doubting Vader by Empire Strikes Back. The scene in, Episode V, where he is talking to Vader is actually a form of aggressive persuasion to make sure Vader still sees Palpatine as the Master of the Darkside. When in fact Palpatine is filled with fear of what might happen if Vader leaves. In Return of the Jedi, Sidious wants to display, to Vader, a punishment for thinking he might turn. Punish his son and kill him if need be. The Dark side fears the light side. Biblical comparisons to Satan fearing God, while trying to maintain control over all under him with fear and confusion. Tapping into one side of the Force will only allow one to see half of the puzzle. In the end it is Only Anakin that used both. That is why he is the chosen one. Get used to these thoughts. And you will understand the whole Saga. It's really brilliant when you sit down and think about it"
There you have it. The Dark side has limitations, as does the lightside. But these limitations are left out while Sidious gets Anakin to join him. And the Audience does not know until the end of Episode III, that Anakin has made sure he still has a chance to redeem himself in the future
