The making of a Star Wars audiobook video

Started by Obi-OneManShow6 pages

Thanx a bunch, Solar Flare, I appreciate the effort. Too bad for the lock-up in the beginning of the file. Is only the file circulating here infected, or do Hyperspace members get the same? (If someone has a clean one, please repost)

Also, is this supposed to be a new webdoc? If yes, are they making a style change towards promoting different licencees or something? Like we would get closer looks at the making of action figures or comics next... would be cool.
I noticed the file is named 15_320.mov, the last webdoc was 13 (10 Gallons of Buildings, the "lave" one), what happened to 14? Or is this a one-off extra, apart from the webdocs?

Also, how many more webdocs are coming? Does the pope wear a funny hat? Can you spank a seamonkey? Did the bear shit on Goldilocks? What do you add to powdered water?

Your welcome.

It's not a webdoc. scramba posted it b/c no one could save it even with QT pro, but scramba has his ways. So we all have the same bugged up version.

I think their are 17 webdocs.

thanks

Here is a trick that works for me:

What I would do is first open the file. I would not play it yet, but I would grab the middle cursor and advance it (without playing it) If you see that the film is not advancing or staying black. Close it and try again. This may take many trys but keep trying. If you do finally get the images scrolling. Place the cursor about 15 or 20 seconds afterward (you don't miss much) and then hit play. Make sure the cursor does not go past the 10-14 second mark or it will freeze.
- this should work for you

oops! not necessarily the middle cursor. But the cursor that allows you to advance the film. Move it fast over that 10-14 second mark or it will freeze.

Thanks a bunch rogue21579 finally figured out how to watch the whole thing. 😄

This might be a little less confusing, but take the courser and move it to the six second point, then while you have not let go of the courser, zoom it up to the end of the video. then just take it back to the 20 second point and you should be able to watch the whole thing.

My download stops after a few minutes :-(

Link doesn't work now anyway, I'll upload another one later if no one else does.

Anyone got a link to a fully working version? Not the one which has already been posted.

It does fully work if you do it right.

It's useless for me, it only downloads about 3.00 mb and that's it. :-(

So how are I supposed to use it? It freezes after 15 seconds, and once more after 04:32 seconds. I get to see everything by skipping the time intervals 14-20 and 04:32-04:37 (give or take a few seconds). So how can I see it with no problems?

take the courser and move it to the six or seven second point (doesn't matter which of those two second points), then while you have not let go of the courser, zoom it up to the end of the video. then just take it back to the 20 second point and you should be able to watch the whole thing.

But still, it would be better if someone could get a fully functioning version.

Making the Audiobook Video: Now Playing

This is up on the OS... seems to be about making the audiobook. Anyone have any info on it?

Probably getting this instead of the webdoc. I, for one, don't mind. This could be cool.
