Pff. For God's sake they're both good characters. No one is better than the other. One's personality reflects ones opinions. Most gamers reflect upon Squall because he's quiet, reserved and unemotional. Tidus is a stereotypical jock. Gamers don't like Jocks. Jocks make fun of them. Squall is the better character in their minds. Some people like Tidus because he has an avid personality and is easy to relate to and like. The majority of male video game characters are cool, quiet and reserved. It's called psychological marketing.
anyway i hate the look they've been going with since 8 and 10, they're all pretty teeniebopper characters and ff12 is no exception, what i like about 12 so far is the look of the background, they kept it old-school like ff9 with the huge towers and the billions of air-ships, but the main character looks gayer than spring time and i dont mean homosexual gay, i mean like he's wearing extremely tight pants and a bra type of gay.....might as well turn the whole series into the rocky horror picture show
quite off-topic but it had to be said
I think the armor they wear can change when you equip them with different things (referring to 12).. but as far as the characters looking gay since 8... I 'like' tetsuya nomuras artwork.. but I dont like how he recycles aspects from one character to make a totally new one. I'd of preferred they stick with yoshitaka amano to design characters.. but its a new age I suppose..
i definitely prefer amano's art
i dont know if you could change the base clothes of the character, i think the armor is only added to him, i dont mind the smooth faces i just noticed more femininity with the male characters, and i have no problem with homosexuality in games, but the tone is just wierd and i hope it doesnt go out of hand with square enix and make all the characters that way, theres always supporting characters who look normal, like barret and a few others who dont come to mind
well, in their past they really had no problem with hetero or homosexuality, it was extremely normal in japan, so its no big deal....but the final fantasy series has been around for a looong time, and i notice femininity in male characters really showed up around ff8....i guess my problem is that i just dont understand how that appeals to people lol
love for them both
Well betty boop is out of this fight I guess-my vote is still for Squall of course and could you stop dissing my friend gesh-anyhow I think Squall"s is well represented and have actually learned to love them both since really-they both were heroes in their own way-they just took very differnt paths on getting to that point 😮💨
