Yep. They should have a flashback scene of the twelve storyline where Cyclops, Jean, Archangel, Imposter Wolverine, Cable and X-man fight Death!

i just hope they throw in stuff that doesnt have to do with the current plot.

like i heard they are completely redoing the dangerroom system.

i hated how you were stuck at level 20 and were limited on what you could do.. it really pissed me off because alot of the x-men were only "good" when they got into the 40's.. i've beaten the game about 8 - 10 times now.. and frankly i'm pissed off at it's replayability..
once you beat it and know the storyline there is no ****ing incentive whatso-ever to play it again.. i only do it cuz i like seeing the x-men.

frankly i'm pissed that once you unlock a char you can't play them from the beginning.

i'm pissed that in the dangerroom you can't level up,.

i'm pissed that you can't roam around the x-mansion and play with the dangerroom and talk to people after you beat the game. or that you can only return there after you complete the stupid long storyline.

i wish they'd impliment more than just the "story".

i'd like to be able to roam the mansion and see ALL the x-men or have a decent reason why they are gone..

i'd like to be able to go to the hang-outs they go to and hunt them down and talk to them or have a drink with them.. i know this is a little outrageous..

but frankly i'm just pissed off with an RPG type game that has no real elements of RPG.

also, i was pissed off that it revolved around a character we all know.. "magma" and they just decided that she was as powerful as the phoenix? even though she really ****ing isnt..

there are lots of things that pissed me off, and frankly the only reason i bought the game, played it, wrote a ****ing faq for it, and learned the game inside and out, was because it was an X-men game..

this is exactly what pisses me off about it, the fact that they sold it and made a profit off it, just because of the name and the stuff built in comics.. and they went ****ing wild on the story and made the characters into what they ****ing wanted..

i hope they don't take as much creative ****ing freedom with these chars.. if stan lee saw what they did, i'm sure he'd be pissing in his grave about the way they ****ing slaughtered his dream of the x-men.

don't you think you being a tad bit hard on da game yo.....wickedph it was decent for they first go round..ya feel me.

not really once you think about it.. they said they rushed the game out to get profits off the movie and crap while it was hot.

and if you get past the "x-men" part of it and actually look at the game, it's pretty poorly built, and lacks so many features that make a game playable that it's just pathetic.

i mean don't get me wrong, the first time i played it.. i had a blast the story was decent the graphics were.. ok... the blocked hands kind of pissed me off, the lack of CGI scenes bugged me a little.. the areas where there was "text" for you but audio for the bad guys kind of made me sick..

the fact that there are THREE areas in the game that if you talk out of order or don't let them finish talking before you hit the continue button your game wont let you continue on past that point.. is just poor programming..

they created a semi-ok game,with little to none replayability, so much so that it was one of the most returned games at the eb-games store here in tempe AZ.

frankly, i'm dissappointed and i hope they do a better job on XML2.
