Never said he was useless, just that he was one of the characters I used the least. I think I may have levelled him up wrong, so I'm playing it again to see if I can get more use out of him.

Sure. She had huge strength, she was the most durable character, she could fly and she was much faster than Colo.
She was very well-rounded. She just lacked a distance attack. But as a bulldozer she rocked. Colo. was to slow in my opinion. Beast too. But Rogue was pretty fast and her absorbing abilities would leave enemies ripe for picking.

ok, i see what u mean... but i preferred storm... nobody gave you breathing room like her... her tornado was great, then i could just pick them off with cyclops...

Cyclops was very good too. His optic beam at high levels would kill almost anyone. Very accurate too. I would control him while my teammates pummeled the opposition.
Storm was very good. A bit overpowered almost.
The worst characters were:
Jubilee
Gambit (his charged cards were pathetic)
Beast (good strength; difficult to control)
Emma was good....as a melee fighter. Upgrade her strength and defense, ignore her psychic abilities and focus purely on her diamond form she was a force to be reckoned with. At her max she was as almost as strong and durable as Colossus. The advantage she had was psychic added effect and she was much faster.

yeah, i hate how they did colossus...
Colossus was FAR too slow. And he was very weak in strength. His durability was weak too. His Atomic punch or whatever took FOREVER to wind up. That's why Rogue surpassed him. Her Southern punch was not quite as strong but it came out a hell of lot faster and she had a higher kill rate.
Colossus's saving grace was his shockwave. Very powerful.
