how many cars does your family have?

Saw a programme on TV yesterday about Americans and their car obsession. Why?

Oil will run out, yet no-one on the programme yesterday wanted cars to do more miles/gallon, they wanted cheaper petrol.

One family with 1 infant daughter had 6 cars, normal paople but 6 cars, 6!!!!

So people of the forum, was the programme speaking rubbish or is America car crazy?

Good point though. Dodge Charger classic american car yet 9 miles to the gallon. And why do Americans call it football when there foot rarely touches the ball? And why do Americans call public toilets bathrooms? I mean you cant have a bath in a public toilet? And how come they cant spell colour properly? I could go on for days but I won't.

Im sure Americans have a million insults against the English. Every other county does!

Problem with England is, we would have that many cars, but they're way cheaper over there.

Petrol is short for petrolium.

Gasoline dont mean jack. It's petrolium. Gasoline is whats added at the first stage of...o forget it.

I think Americans have to have different phrases for words that are too long or they can't pronounce. Either that or it makes them feel important.

All of us drive our own car to work, mom keeps one to stay home.

One of them doesn't get driven though. My dad's all into restoring cars and stuff....

ONe of my buddies in Edinburgh, lives in town with his folks and 4 brothers and sister. They don't have a car. They use, wait for it...........................public transport 😱

I'd ride my bike to work just for the exercise....but i work 40 miles away. 🙁

I kinda need my own car for school and work, because, wait for it...........there's no busline by my house that goes to either! 😱
