I just went through a break up after a very long relationship with a ton of other complex stuff thrown in on top of it. Cheating and dishonest to name two.

I basically walked in on my girlfriend of over a year doing things with someone I considered a close friend. The one thing I did was close myself off. I didn't think anybody knew what I felt like, and maybe no one did. Yet talking lifts the burden as it were.

I've been there. I know how awful that feels. And you're right, the worst feeling is that of being alone. And it's easy to put up a wall and let the world stay out. If people are there for you though, it makes it a little easier.
