I was never really funny... But when I'm joking people think I'm being sincere... This did not used to happen... People like Slip and Rob got it.... People like Strangelove just don't, then comeback with prejudice remarks like "Asshat Brit" simply because I made insincere jokey comments about America a few times, i've not even done any of these for months as I stopped when asked.

I think it requires at least a modest IQ to think that hard. To purposefully miss the point of a joke and friendly banter to insult and provoke is possibly a little to hard for the people in question.
