I've honestly never done ANYTHING to a client who wasn't asking for it.

Male or female. 😈

Honestly, I do my job...it's for fun on weekends, and only if someone does something for which they deserve a choke hold, or having their head rammed into a locked door, do I do it. Others, are not so choosy. Others want to do it to stoke their egos.

I have to say that it depends on the club/place you got go. I've seen bouncers act like real tossers in some places - like around here near work near Gatwick. However I was pleasantly surprised when at the weekend I went to a nightclub with my cousin and some friends, at one point most people were dancing, or at the bar or toilet, I was alone 🙁 some idiot was trying to cause trouble, i just put my drink down and raised my hands to try and placate the little prick and also so that they were up and ready should the need arise, even his mates were telling him to stop, next thing I know there are a few doormen around us the one behind him swiftly removed his pint glass from his hand (so he could not use it as a weapon), when he turned to see who had taken his drink the others grabbed an arm each and gently escorted him from the club, it was all done quickly, quietly and with the minimum of fuss which did not affect anyone else - I was pleasantly surprised.

it depends how u treat them

i h8 bouncers i cant go anywhere near the bottom of the big market in newcastle other wise i'll get killed off this propa massive bouncer 😆 the joys of life 😄

Those are indeed the good ones. I was a bouncer for sixth months last year, technically. At Muddy Waters, in Arcata, California, I watched the backdoor to make sure no one went outside with their drinks. My roommates worked there, so they got me the gig only for weekends if they felt they needed the help. I'm not a super buffed big guy, but I'm tall and semi-stalky, but I never had to get physical. Usually people who caused trouble with me were all about coming off like, "Hey, bouncer guy, what are you going to do if I bring my beer outside?" I'd just tell them that I was the 'door reminder guy' and I'd kindly ask them to bring their drink back inside so the place wouldn't be shut down. And then I'd tell them that if they resisted, the only finger I'd raise would be to call the police. That usually did the trick. Plus, I was dealing mostly with drunk hippies or college students who were merely in that frustrated 'crammed for finals, ready to party hard' state of mind. Also, I had to deal with the occasional homeless drunk who would stammer in. I mostly made friends with them, though. 😄

Hobos have such great stories to tell.

Hobos have such great stories to tell.

You could learn a lot from a hobo. 😉

😆

They have really fascinating stories, particularily the ones that have been on the streets for a long time, one was telling us all these stories for food.

He gave you food to listen to his stories? 😛

Yeah, hobos do the best beef casserole.

😆

True. 😐

You never know... you never know.

Oh, believe me. I know. Okay, it was a Quesadilla, but hey, it was tasty! 😄
