lol, it always seems to be that way. The first time I saw it in theatres I actually enjoyed it very much but after I saw a few times more afterwards I realized how bad a Terminator film it was.
In my eyes both T2 and T3 are spin-offs. They are both inconsistent with T1 and they destroy almost the whole point of the first movie, which was the fact that as stated in the opening credits, it was the final battle in the man-machine war. After "The Terminator" it was over, and at the same time, just beginning.

I bought T3 as soon as it was released on DVD, but mainly because I'm a Terminator fan. Thats what studios take for granted when releasing films like Batman & Robin or T3, the loyalty of the fans.

Oh yeah of course, Terminator 3 was miles much better than Batman & Robin. I was just relating the fact that filmmakers and studios often stray away from simple elements that crafted the previous films because they believe fans will watch anything that is released because of the title.
