On Wednesday, July 9th, 2003, the shooting crew moved to Stage 3, the greenscreen-lined area that served as many different landing platforms throughout the production. The floor pattern was redressed and a curving guard rail added for it to become the "Clone Landing Platform," as described in the script. In postproduction, the background is filled out with a massive staging area realized with miniature and digital additions -- including a massive Republic Star Destroyer. The call sheet describes scene 72 in a single, simple line: "Anakin and Obi-Wan say their good-byes."
