Ahahaha, so true! I was going to post something...not nice, but I figured that I would bring a great reckoning on myself for--*GASP*!--showing pride in my country."omg u natoinalist freak u suxx0rz i hate ur country!!111!!!!11!!1111 but i cn show pride in my country cuz its not america"
Actually, it was a symbolic representation of our duty as Americans to put the flag to it's proper rest as Bush had dragged it through the mud, squandering the outpouring of support and goodwill from the rest of the world after the WTC attacks, in order to throw us into a war we really didn't have any reason to start, other than "he tried to kill my daddy."
If you want to liberate people, Iraq isn't exactly the place to start. And it sure as hell isn't the only instance of an oppressive, totalitarian regime (and don't start your crap about thinking I'm going to list the US as one of them, because I'm not, douche.) in the world. However, we've apparently gone and screwed the pooch while shitting the bed on that one, so I'll just leave it at that and let you think about a response.

I feel old. The Transformers were cancelled a long time before that. This whole: megatron is a tank and optimus prime is a gorilla bull shit...yeah...guess what?, that's not the transformers! The Transformers epic ended with Tranformers: The Move.
Also, the Transformers movie came after the second season...there were two more seasons that followed.

usually, what makes a film 'great' is if it succeeds in raising relevant questions and creating debate. I doubt this can ever be done without offending certain groups of people or individuals, who doesn't agree with the films message or feel attacked by it. actually, I doubt you can ever make a film, great or otherwise, which doesn't, in one way or other, offend somebody. I mean, look at Harry Potter, for crying out loud! 😉
i went on a march in support of the miners in Central London when i was a university student. All the mines were being closed down, tens of thousands turned up on one of the wettest days i can ever remember. There were so many people in the march that by the time our section got to Hyde Park for the speeches, all the speakers had finished -- we arrived just in time to see the leader of the opposition walking the other way. Unfortunately, the mines closed anyway but it just felt like the right thing to do.
