Took my dog 2 years before it stopped acting like a maniac. Red used to be so bad; I thought at about 18 months that he'd never change and we were just a bad match and I should give him up...but I didn't, and 6 months later, he settled down (at last).

That's funny. I know how that feels. When my dogs were younger they discovered toilet paper and thought unrolling it was a game... because at the end they'd get a prize: a paper roll.

Mine will still get at pizza boxes in the recycling bin. I have to chase him to get them back before they're in slobbery rags all over.
