What I always found stupid about Colossus was the fact that with all his strength, he can't hop around like Hulk does. Other than Hulk (and Supes), most 100+ class characters seem to only have upper body strength and under developed legs.Or at least that's how they're portrayed.
Colossus weighs about 500-700 pounds when armored, why can't he launch his own weight several hundred feet through the air?
I always wondered too...

Someone showed me a thing where Colossus was jumping extremely high. He can't jump like Hulk, but he sure can jump. Common sense would you think that he should be able to jump proportionately more than a human as they can lift. I just don't think they show them doing it lots because that's more the Hulks thing, but I'm sure that all writers would agree that the really strong characters could pretty much leap tall buildings.
Originally posted by illadelph12I think that Namor has some leaping feats (not Hulk class, though). His limbs are of course more centered around swimming (although he can run faster then humans too) Sasquatch has good leaping feats too.

Well, Namor can also fly, so I don't worry about him so much. It's really the grounded class 100+ characters that I find as oddities.
Colossus, Thing, Strong Guy, Juggernaut, etc.
He'll, even class 50+.
Most of these characters don't weigh more than 800 lbs, and they can lift in the neighborhood of 2000%+ their own body weight. Most times using the strength in their legs.
Why aren't they shown bounding around?
I understand it's more of a Hulk thing, but when it comes to debates around here on the forums, it's hard to account for these characters mobility when they're portrayed as immobile tanks. As was said by superman41082, common sense would tell you someone who can lift 50 tons and only weighs, say, 320 lbs, should be able to propel their own weight proportionately, but that's never the case.
The same thing happens with punches though. You've got characters that can toss oil tankers around, but they punch someone that weighs 200-400 pounds and they can take the punch without getting launched skyward.

Not faster❌ Unless you are talking about IM's flight speed. If fight takes place on the ground then Colossus is faster.
He may have meant that Tony was faster because of his enhanced reaction times.
"The Extremis armor grants him superspeed reactions and a healing factor able to regrow whole organs. He was able to stop Crimson Dynamo's heart and restart it."

Again, the only way for Colossus to win is if Stark lets him. Colossus has a very limited range in regards to not only his attacks but also his mobility.

Im still looking for top tier Colossus 🏴☠️

Well, the flying thing is obvious when discussing about comics. They simply can't do that, because the story would suck when, with every punch the character would fly miles. Maybe their legs just aren't designed for jumping? Maybe writers haven't thought about it.
Here is one scan of Colossus showing leaping ability. He jumped straight up through the steel ceiling of the Danger Room.

Anyways I never said Colossus is gonna beat IM the majority. But Colossus can get some wins cause IM has nothing in his arsenal that can take out Colossus completely.
My initial argument is that IM is not 10x stronger than Colossus. That is just obsurd.
Originally posted by Grimm22No it's the real IM. DareDevil and Wolverine could not sense it with their senses.
No that isnt the real Iron Man its some weird alternate evil version of Iron Man. I donno it took place in some crossover, I think I have that comic though.Colossus is stronger than IM, but IM is faster, smarter, more powerful.
N'uff Said
I can show you a scan of the Alien takin over IM's body.

It's more that writers are retarded. If they're that strong and can lift that much, they can lift themselves with the same proportion. Unless the characters 'fast-twitch' muscles are very weak, like a Juggernaut. I don't see Juggernaut as being very explosive like a track star. I see him needing to build up mor momentum, but I'm sure he could still just extremely high, just not like a Colossus would.........

It's hard to debate against IM cause if I say so and so did this to IM then the other guy can go "well that was last year and he has been upgraded since then" and bla bla bla.

Namor kicking Iron Man's ass was pre-extremis. 😬
And just because Namor can kick his ass, doesn't mean that Colossus can, Namor has flight, greater speed, strength, skills etc.
