I finally caught "V for Vendetta" on DVD and I'm still mulling about whether or not I liked it. It was so...everywhere, like a whole bunch of stories crammed into one movie. When the mutated experiment factor for V was brought in my girlfriend correctly said that now they've thrown in everything lol.
As far as Natalie herself I kept thinking that this was a lot like her performance in the Professional. It was good...but it wasn't new to me. Maybe it's cause I've seen Leon so much that I couldn't help but just see her performance again. I did like that really strong scene though when she comes out of V's self-made torture for her and begins yelling at him, then breaks down and cries. Very powerful scene.
I still haven't seen Closer though. Would anybody recommend watching that just to see Natalie?
Im scared.... and quite amazed.

I guess if you like seeing her doing some wannabe-striptease, then maybe. Closer was a great movie, but IMO, it had nothing to do with Natalie and more with the screenplay and overall concept.
I thought Closer was a great movie. It's very true to life, and i could relate to a lot of it.
Jude Law and Julia Robert's acting wasn't too "thrilling" (quite boring) but Clive and Nat's were wonderful (sexy and funny).
The best parts of the movie were the scenes where Clive and Nat were together (which were 2).
so any part where its just Jude and Julia alone, prepare to yawn sometime.

Yeah I loved it too.
I know what you mean about Jude Law and Julia Roberts but it seemed that that was what their characters were supposed to be like.
Oooh I was just talking about Garden State in the Zach Braff thread. I keep meaning to watch it but I forget it's on. What does everyone think of it?
GS is a "cute" movie.
Its has it funny part and then there's a few slow ones. The slow ones aren't TOOOOO boring though, they're mainly the "serious" type scenes.
Nat was so goofy. 🤣 lol
Peter S. was an ass... (i still love him) 😊
I'm not really into Zach B. that much, but he made a good movie. (Job well done)
I cried a lot when i 1st saw it. I think i was just emotional that day, because I was just pathetic. 🙄
The movie also has a great soundtrack. It took me about a month to buy it at the store because it was always sold out. 😠 ( assholes!! )
