Alright, after last nights events i am writing this. This applies to everyone myself included. While alot of you maybe disagree with the choices we as hosts make, please understand that we feel they are the best for the RP in the long run. We go over every detail of every big plot to make sure its perfect, and we try to make this as enjoyable as possible for everyone as players (because thats the point isn't it?). I know it might not seem like that sometimes, but believe me we are trying our best. One such example is the 'sentinel publicity' issue.
While i commend feralboy for his initiative, i must stress that shadow king and i spent a long time debating whether sentinels would be public, and this was before the mission even started. After hours (yes i said hours) we decided to make them not known to the public. Then last night happened. I don't blame feralboy for having initiative, in fact i applaud it, but please, try to see it from our perspective.
As for the powers issue, when a player chooses to play as an actual x-man, we are incredibly adamant that the player should stick to that characters capabilities. This is an xmen RP after all, and must remain in most part to the source material. Changing abilities to suit the storyline is not an option by any means, and will be incredibly frowned upon.
I must stress again, this RP is hosted, whereby meaning the hosts decide the major plot events. If you have ideas, then please by all means submit them through this thread (you'll save us some work).

k coolio. i was wondering if i could drop cannonball. i kinda just wanna be banshee for now. and speaking of banshee, i was wondering about this plot that me and SK talked about. not really a plot, just a mission. so i was thinking banshee gets a call from syren that black tom (and maybe juggernaut) is back in ireland and she needs help. so banshee organizes a team of x-men and takes them to ireland to fight black tom and maybe juggernaut. whadda think?
