I just find it hard to believe that GL is going to seat there and be happy with an opening crawl like this for the final installment

The Jedi have instructed OBI-WAN KENOBI and ANAKIN SKYWALKER to lead the campaign on Ansion. As the two continue their journey of war, Anakin must learn to control his growing decent towards the Dark Side…
Episode III.V
Crusade of the Fallen
It is a dark time for the galaxy. The Republic has been dismantled and the GALACTIC EMPIRE has taken full control of nearly all star systems in the Vordarian Beltway. The civilized times are over, and many have lost all hope.
The Jedi Knights have reached near extinction. After the Jedi Massacre, the few that were able to escape have fled to random planets to evade their deaths. With their presence slowly becoming nothing but a memory and the purge still in action, the biggest threats to the Sith rule have been eradicated.
As Emperor Palpatine begins to close his grip on the Senate, DARTH VADER is sent to trace the whereabouts of any enemies still living. The Neglected Plague
Over twenty years have passed since the destruction of the GALACTIC EMPIRE and the Sith. The galaxy has been under a heavy reconstruction due greatly to the rise of the New Jedi Order, led by LUKE SKYWALKER and his followers.
Despite its temporary time of peace, the Vordarian Beltway is once again in peril. The Republic has been under heavy and constant attack from a large band of DARK JEDI named the IKEDA ELITE who have assembled as the newest threat to the still fragile governing system.
When Republic investigators are been informed of a possible attack on the planet of SCEVA, a peaceful and neutral system of the galaxy, the Jedi and Republic army gather their troops and prepare to engage in combat…
Episode VIII
Prayer to the Force
Ceaseless fear has swarmed over the New Republic. The increasing crisis of the IKEDA ELITE has caused the Jedi Order to be in constant alert of new attacks. The galaxy is in a state of panic at all times.
With the Dark Side as a stable entity yet again, Jedi Master LUKE SKYWALKER devotes some of his attention to discovering a potential weakness of the evil sanction of THE FORCE. Search parties raid star systems to find any artifacts that may contain useful information.
In response to the destruction of a Jedi training facility on the planet MEOCOPED, Jedi Knights ANAKIN SOLO and BEN SKYWALKER seek to find the suspects of this assault in an attempt to stop their revolt…

Renaissance of the Republic
Eleven months of war have gone by since the evacuation on Brolm. The Dark Side of The Force has been retracted to a near complete remission. Only a few hundred members of the IKEDA ELITE remain hidden, but the Republic is still in jeopardy.
Due to the stability issues, the BOUNTY HUNTERS GUILD, an army of the most skilled assassins in the galaxy, has begun to make their marks on the Republic’s foundation. Throughout the months, they have made it clear that they seek revenge on not only the officials of the Republic, but the Jedi Order themselves.
The leader of the Jedi, LUKE SKYWALKER, and his sister LEIA ORGANA SOLO head to the Vordarian Beltway’s capital of CORUSCANT to help decide the fate of two captured Dark Jedi, in an attempt to further restore final peace throughout the galaxy…

Episode III
Revenge of the Sith
The CLONE WARS rage on, crippling the once glorious Republic. Starvation, death and misery stalk endless star systems of the galaxy. Attacks from the Separatists have become steady events, where even peaceful areas have seen the battlefront.
Under the leadership of CHANCELLOR PALPATINE, the Galactic Senate has been questioning the Jedi Order. As the war continues, many doubt their usefulness. The Jedi have been steadily losing numbers, remaining loyal to the Republic.
In a bold maneuver, the leaders of the Confederacy, COUNT DOOKU and the evil GENERAL GRIEVOUS have captured the chancellor in an attempt to gain a foothold. Entrusted with his rescue, Jedi Knights OBI-WAN KENOBI and ANAKIN SKYWALKER speed forward to save the day…
What do you guys think? I suppose it could use a "WAR!!" in it, eh? lol

I wasn't singling out the "war" word as an example. I said the crawl in its totality sounds like SW. I like and am not bothered by the crawl. As I said, I think its a fairly trivial thing to get up in arms about. To me its like getting upset that "DEATH STAR" is in caps or something. But everyone's got opinions....
And no offense, but I am sure every fan in the world thinks they could make a better crawl. I know for a fact that lots of fans think (or "know", as they would say) they can write a better movie than GL. But the point is....that's the crawl, like it or hate it. Spending a couple minutes to "prove" that you can do a better crawl is really kind of moot, I think.
