I have to agree the creative process isn't a production line. I've been doing sigs for a while but as a rule found that unfortunatley if you give people an inch they'll take a mile. I've had only 2 sig's on here since I joined last year (I've made much better ones as many can show, but I really can't be arsed to change all the time, I have better things to do.) Remember that people who do sigs as a public service are not to be taken for granted. I love making sigs but hate having to do them to order, so if I come up with something of use to someone I'll pass it on and occasionally I'll do one as a request.
Maybe this should be renamed the 'taking the p*ss' thread as some people are changing their sigs more often than their underwear (guessing here!). Sig's aren't an art competition its part of how people see you online, thats all. You don't change who you are every few weeks so why change your sig every few days?
I'm sorry if this upsets people but I really can understand where Obi etc.. are coming from .. (and going to more importantly) as I've been that road myself. Hence why I now concentrate on my site's and a bit of fan art on the side. You'll find that alot of sig-makers eventually stop for this very reason. So if you love these peoples art, give them room to breathe a bit and not bombard them with requests. Thats just my two cents worth for what it's worth.
